Explore Reyes Barbecue

If you ever find yourself exploring Market! Market! Mall in Taguig, one spot I often recommend is Reyes Barbecue. It’s a casual yet satisfying dining place that stands out for its well-loved Filipino barbecue offerings, especially their chicken barbecue, which many consider among the best in the country. What makes it memorable isn’t just the smoky, slightly sweet flavor of the grilled meat, but how everything on the plate comes together-the rice, their signature sauce, and even the tangy pickled radishes create a balanced and complete meal. The option for boneless chicken is also a thoughtful touch, making it easier and more convenient to enjoy, especially in a relaxed dining setting.

Beyond their barbecue, the menu offers a variety of comforting Filipino favorites like sisig bowls, burger steak, and warm soups such as sotanghon, all prepared in a way that appeals to a wide range of tastes. The overall flavor profile leans toward familiar, home-style cooking but with a level of consistency that keeps people coming back. Another thing I appreciate about this branch is the atmosphere-it’s usually less crowded compared to other popular spots in the mall, so you can enjoy your meal without long waits or too much noise.

The experience is also elevated by the staff, who are known for being attentive and genuinely helpful. There have even been instances where their honesty and initiative stood out, like going the extra mile to return a lost item to a guest, showing a level of care that’s not always easy to find. All of this adds to the feeling that dining here isn’t just about the food, but also about the overall warmth and reliability of the place.

It’s also my No1 chicken barbecue in the Philippines. I love the rice, the sauce and the pickled radishes. The flavor of all parts in the plate are balanced and that’s the reason why it’s more expensive than Inasal. Boneless is easier to eat when you’re dating.

We ordered sisig bowl, burger steak and sotanghon soup. Food is great sa panlasa ko. And if you prefer some resto which is not crowd and no waiting, I recommend to try this one.

To the staff of Reyes Barbeque Market Market especially to Miss Era.... Thank you so much. When my wife lost her phone, she never knew that she left it in your branch when we dine in. We are not hopeful that it will be returned. Then suddenly, your branch message me that you secure the phone when they saw it on the seat where we dine. You even appologize for openning it and searching for contacts to inform us. Good decision on your part. We really appreciate your effort in contacting us. Thank you very much for your goodness and to Miss Era. You are a good person. God Bless you all.

Tried their pork barbecue and bangus belly. It was superb and satiating! and also the peanut sauce love it! :) I just don't like the Java rice as it taste like "NFA" lol. The rest, it was a good experience.

This is an all-time favorite, especially for their peanut sauce. It’s unfortunate that Reyes BBQ in Iloilo is no longer around—the closest one now seems to be at RobMain Iloilo. My last visit to Reyes BBQ Market 2 was probably last year when I went to get my National ID in Makati.

Went here during the lunch hour since they actually had some open tables. The place is genrally clean but it is a bit cramped since they tried to fit in as many tables as they can. The food itself was a mixed bag the barbeque was a bit overcooked but not too badly, it was saved by the peanut sauce which was excellent. The longanisa were also perfectly fine. The Java rice was definitely lacking flavor on the other hand the Pancit Luglog was excellent. The service was also a mixed bag. Serving time was quick we got our food within just 5 minutes which was impressive given the lunch rush. What wasnt so nice was the ordering experience. The line to order takes a long time to move…there were only 3 others infront of me and yet it took 10 minutes before I could place my order. Thats definitely something they could improve on.
